Initial Study of Archaeological sites

1st project year

Initial study of the archaeological site based on Knowledge Building methodology

Schools project teams will do a historical research and teachers will prepare learning activities (map localization of the arch. sites and other sites/monuments founded in the area, etc.) in order to gather information and study the archaeological site.

Expert partners' teams (KPEK, EFAMES, UNIV Ca'Foscari and CDLLL) will provide all information asked from pupils concerning this research. They will visit the schools in order to have a face-to-face discussion.

Archaeological sites – Activities in situ

3D modelling in EdMondo

During their visit, School project teams will collect the data for visual virtual reconstruction of the theater (sited in their local archaeological site). They will also use the knowledge building collection they would have constructed in KF5 platform. Plus, all new data will be uploaded to KF5 platform and from there all partners can add and exchange data and information in a collaborative way.

School project teams will create Sketches, drawings, textures and paintings based on data collection. Local schools will collaborate for the final sketches and they will make the 3D models based on the visual/tech artwork in EdMondo.
Local schools will collaborate in costruction and all partners will collaborate as they will exchange electronic resources in EdMondo (as textures, backgrounds etc.). In EdMondo, users will be connected on the same virtual world, in different pieces of land, in order to build the temple, the theatres and the amphitheatre. KPEK, EFAMES, UNIV Ca'Foscari and CLD  will monitor their local schools and will provide councelling. EFAMES, UNIV Ca'Foscari and CDL will verify the final 3D models (respectively to their countries).
